Summary:
The Marketing Activity Assistant supports the marketing team with planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs, and with the development of new marketing strategies. The Marketing Activity Assistant will coordinate and execute communication and marketing activities to connect the organization’s brand with its audiences. This position does require a valid Indiana driver’s license and automobile insurance as the coverage area includes: Porter, LaPorte, Starke, Jasper, Newton, and Lake counties.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events with facilities.
· Handling logistics to make the event possible, such as making phone calls, advertising, managing inventory and budgets, training and motivating volunteers or employees.
· Providing participants with instructions for the event.
· Adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures
· Flexibility to work when needed, especially evenings, weekends, or early mornings.
· Encourage patients to participate in events.
· Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs.
· Create and implement different types of original content for all social media platforms.
· Capturing photos and video for social media content
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications/Education:
A. Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Undergraduate degree in marketing preferred.
B. Work Experience, Skills, and Abilities
1. Previous experience in marketing or related field preferred.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Excellent presentation skills.
4. Must be computer literate. Experience in database management, Power Point, desktop publishing, and Excel preferred.
5. Ability to prioritize workload and follow-through on assignments.
6. Demonstrates ability to take initiative.
7. Ability to work independently and be extremely organized.
8. Must have a pleasant personality and professional appearance.
9. Ability to develop effective working relationships with all staff members.
10. Ability to maintain confidential information.
11. Must be flexible and adapt easily to a changing environment.
12. Must have and maintain current driver’s license and automobile insurance.
13. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
