Automotive Parts Specialist
Vogel Chevrolet is looking for a motivated individual to join our winning team in our Parts Department. We are family owned and operated since 1929 and have been in Kiel since 1967. Prior experience with automotive parts is preferred.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge in automotive parts
- Computer literacy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of inventory
- Professional appearance
- Strong work ethic
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor, and adjust inventory accurately
- Work closely with service manager to ensure parts are ordered and received on time
- Complete special order requests for any parts that need to be ordered
- Oversee the parts sales process from customer or service tech inquiry, to finding/ordering the part, to invoicing the customer
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist the service department with making appointments, greeting customers, and closing repair orders
