About Care Crisis Response Services (CCRS): CCRS is a 24/7 telephone hotline that provides both crisis intervention and professional consultation services, including triaging requests for mental health evaluations to the North Sound Mental Health Region (Snohomish, Skagit, Island, Whatcom, and San Juan Counties). CCRS is a part of the Integrated Crisis Response System. Our professional triage line is the entry point for the community, hospitals, jails, outpatient services, etc., requesting a mental health evaluation by the Designated Mental Health Professionals, Emergency Mental Health Counselors and Mobile Outreach Teams. We provide brief phone assessments and assist the community and clients in determining what mental health services are most appropriate for the current mental health crisis. Our crisis hotline provides services to the North Sound Region and is also a part of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
General Function:
This position is responsible for assisting in the overall management and leadership of the behavioral health programs including supervision or oversight of all Behavioral Health crisis staff, coaching staff, case consultations, and working collaboratively with the Behavioral health Management team in continually reviewing policy, procedures, trainings and business practices to ensure efficiencies, exceptional level of customer service and meeting all appropriate funder contractual obligations. This position also serves as the Manager On-Call (MOC) and provides after-hours consultation as needed to support program staff in the Crisis Services program. This position requires flexible scheduling.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree in behavioral science, counseling or related field
· Registered as a mental health counselor within 30 days of employment required; licensure in the State of Washington or ability to become licensed.
· Five (5) years of recent, directly related experience, including (2) years of supervisory experience
· Crisis intervention and call center experience strongly preferred
· Must possess excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills
· Must have the ability to multi-task, apply problem-solving skills, and seek out information until a solution is implemented
· Demonstrated skill in Triage and Crisis Center work preferred
· Advanced level of MS office suite required
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform supervision, support, training and coaching of crisis staff/clinicians
· Provide after-hours consultation as needed to support crisis programs
· Participate in budget reviews of BH programs
· Complete or review performance evaluations
· Facilitate weekly staff meetings to include policy and case review
· Continually monitor program Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
· Act as the Relias Learning System Administrator
· Ensure exceptional customer service and effective, efficient program operation
· Work collaboratively with staff/management team to ensure all policies, procedures, and business practices are current and best practice
· Be an active, contributing, positive member of the Behavioral Health management team
· Occasional travel to local meetings and national conferences
· Actively participate in any audit and accreditation activities
· Other projects as assigned by Senior Director and/or Assistant Director
