How You Will Make an Impact
Our guests seek professionalism, honesty, and credibility. As a Service Technician (Flat Rate), you will be responsible for delivering hospitality by ensuring par excellence of our vehicles. Your primary focus will be performing advanced diagnosis and repairs on Volvo vehicles including Hybrid and BEV powertrains. Your efficiency of service and repair will directly impact whether we become our guest’s favorite place to service their vehicle.

What Winning Looks Like:
This position is for technicians who seek to apply their skills, knowledge, aptitude, and experience towards advanced diagnostic and repair work. This position is not for maintenance driven technicians. You will express your mechanical and technical acumen by producing quality results.

• Demonstrating a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
• Interact daily with customers, Service Advisors, other Technicians, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates, and Managers
• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to ensure customer loyalty
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the customer
• Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
• Achieve targeted Customer Satisfaction Index

Skills Needed to Win:

• Advanced Volvo training certifications including BEV and Hybrid
• Ability to effectively manage time to meet and exceed targets
• Talent for vehicle problem solving
• 10+ years of prior automotive diagnostic, and repair experience required
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Possess a valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record

Pay: $120,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
