The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operation of the HR department. Supporting a wide range of HR activities including general administrative duties, recruitment and employee development, employee database management, and the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
. Requirements:
Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources executive.
Assist with monthly benefit reconciliation of all provider benefit bills.
Coordinate HR projects; meetings, trainings, and taking minutes during departmental meetings.
Assist with the recruiting process by reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, performing background checks, and updating internal tracking records.
May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as employee census, new hire, and turnover reports.
Maintain calendars of the HR management team
Prepares purchase orders for human resource office.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Skills Required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook strongly preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to think critically and handle projects.
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively.
Ability to multitask and pay attention to details.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Experience Required
0-2 years of proven HR assistant experience or relevant human resources/administrative experience preferred.
Basic working knowledge of labor law and employment best practices
Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
Experience in benefits administration strongly preferred.
Education Required
High school diploma or equivalent required.
HR Certificate preferred
