As a key member of WalkerHealthcareIT’s leadership team, the Human Resources Operations Manager will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders to lead Human Resources, training and development, and organization design initiatives. Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience leading individual, team and organization effectiveness efforts.

What we are seeking:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in any of the following areas: change management, organizational design and/or strategic HR business partnership.
• Extremely strong written and verbal communication including proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and technology that supports collaboration.

• Program facilitation, corporate learning curriculum/content creation experience.
• Team building and coaching experience.
• Proven ability to execute in a high growth, fast changing environment.
• Strong sense of ownership; driving initiatives from inception to completion.
• Ability to collaborate with other functional leaders and executives.

What you will do:

• Proactively supports the delivery of HR products, policies, and services.
• Actively identifies gaps; proposes and implements changes necessary to address individual and organizational issues.
• Creates and manages employee onboarding plans and new hire orientation; educates newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures and regulations; manages and administers company-wide training.
• Assists and provides guidance with performance management; collaborates with leadership, IT, and department managers to set up team members for success in their roles.
• Helps to develop and oversees company-wide training and programs and orientation materials.
• Designs resources to facilitate continued learning and professional development; create and facilitate team building, educational, and engagement opportunities.
• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, and anti-harassment training.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resources programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, employee recognition, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Generates official internal documents such as offer letters, non-compete agreements, warning letters, employee handbook, etc.
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Maintains physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records.
• Administers payroll, benefits, and assist team members in navigating employment resources.
