Wana Brands is the most trusted edibles company in North America. This position will be a key member of our logistics team in Colorado. The individual in this position will oversee warehouse operations for both finished goods and raw materials. This position reports to the Logistics Manager.
Qualifications
3+ years of supply chain experience, including warehouse and inventory experience with at least 2 years leading a team
Proven leadership skills, coaching and developing leaders & employees
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and manage to/achieve metrics
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with frontline employees, peers, and executives
Ability to drive positive change in both processes and systems and culture
Strong internal and external customer focus with great follow-up
Have an MED badge or can qualify for one.
Great interpersonal skills
Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
Exceptional time management and organization skills
In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices
Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications
Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
Hold a forklift certification
Have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
Ownership of the handling and storage of raw materials and Wana products
Effectively develop and manage warehouse organization and utilization
Responsible for a warehouse team consisting of hourly employees
Determine staffing needs to meet workload requirements and manage day to day budget and forecasts
Ensuring safety, quality, continuous improvement, P & L, budgeting, inventory control, and forklift fleet operations
Coach and develop leaders and team members to successful results, including identifying training and development needs
Resolve exceptions to daily operations
Maintain contingency plans for time sensitive operations (unscheduled absentees, customer issues, systems malfunctions, inventory exceptions, warehouse fleet and transport equipment issues)
Manage the supply chain and ensure that all supplies and necessary equipment for production are available for the departments to fulfill orders
Daily interaction with plant management, planning, distribution, quality and inventory control
Interaction with peers across the company to share best practices and maintain compliance
Ensure quality service to consumers by exceeding customer shipping requirements within the established time frame, and by communicating to internal contacts any issues that may impact customers
Responsible for the development and adherence of Key Performance Indicators
Establish warehouse best practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations
Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment onsite. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position regularly works Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:30pm and Fridays 9am-1pm However, ability to work earlier or stay later is may be required in this position.
Travel is not expected but may be needed for training purposes.
