The Cash Management Accountant performs a variety of cash management functions, including ensuring timely and accurate processing of company-wide cash receipts and disbursements across multiple portfolio entities and monitoring and managing the Company’s bank accounts and other banking related services.
This position will be the point of contact with bank administration and will work with the Companies accounting team to record all cash transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of company-wide cash receipts and disbursements across all portfolio entities.
- Timely reporting of cash receipts and disbursements to the applicable departments.
- Perform bank reconciliations monthly and record all unrecorded monthly cash entries.
- Monitor and manage the Company’s bank accounts and all banking related services, including but not limited to deposits, check processing, ACHs, wires, voided payments, and positive pays.
- Ensure timely resolution to all cash related inquiries as necessary both internal and external to the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business, preferred, or combination of applicable experience and education
- 3+ years cash management experience, preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Working knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to plan ahead and adapt quickly
- Desire to learn and initiative to problem-solve
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects with flexible deadlines
