## Associate, Core Tax – Multiple Locations – Summer 2024

******** is seeking highly qualified candidates for full time Associate positions in several of its offices. Privately-held since 1983, **A&M** is a leading global professional services firm that delivers performance improvement, turnaround management and business advisory services to organizations seeking to transform operations, catapult growth and accelerate results through decisive action.

### Responsibilities

As an Associate with A&M Tax, responsibilities include:

– Preparing year-end tax projections, identifying and researching planning ideas, and preparing financial analysis to obtain optimal tax minimization strategies for clients
– Researching various federal, international, state, and local income tax regulations
– Preparing correspondence to clients regarding proposed and final Internal Revenue Service regulations affecting their various tax positions
– Preparing federal and international individual, partnership, limited liability company, S Corporation, and C Corporation income tax returns and supporting schedules
– Gather data from clients and analyzing tax-related financial information
– Preparing quarterly estimated tax calculations
– Developing economic models used to evaluate transactions for strategic planning and structuring purposes
– Teaming with other colleagues and participating in client meetings

### Qualifications

– Currently pursuing a degree Bachelor of Science/Business Administration, Master of Science in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or other relevant field
– Pursuing (or intent to pursue) CPA, JD or
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate complex information
– Strong analytical skills
– High proficiency in spreadsheets
– Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines
– High motivation to learn and grow with the team
– Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
– Ability to travel as needed
