The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for working with management in the areas of labor relations, employee compensation, benefits, personnel recruitment, hiring, payroll administration, compliance with regulations and laws applicable to plant or personnel, and all other areas of personnel management in support of the goals of the North Grafton facility, with a supporting role to the Washington Mills Ceramics Corporation facility as needed. The principal challenge is to develop and maintain cooperative relations with employees; hire and maintain an adequate workforce for business needs; and administer payroll on a weekly basis. This position should serve as a resource to both employees and management in an effort to support the achievement of business goals. In addition, the person will deliver on human resources projects in support of ongoing business culture changes. Support is provided through existing plant management, HRIS Manager, General Counsel, and CFO.
