In this position, you will be supporting projects and goals of the HR Department, including areas of operations, compliance, and audits.
Manage the Company’s Affirmative Action Plan (AAP)
Provide guidance to local districts when they need AAP information
Manage the Company’s Veteran and EEO Reporting requirements
Compete various state required audits with regards to pay, Veteran status, etc. (e.g., CA Pay data, NY Workforce, etc.)
Respond to legal requests for employee records and regulatory reports
Lead and direct the local districts with OFCCP audits
Manage the Company’s Leave of Absence process
Manage the background check administrative process adding users, new locations, and providing user support as needed
Oversee compliance with the Company’s Onboarding process. This includes ensuring that all new hire documents are completed and acknowledged in Workday and other 3rd party vendors platforms (e.g., Driver Qualification File (DQF), New Hire)
Manage the Company’s I-9 process. Including liaise with outside legal on TNC/FNC issues, provide support for audits, etc.
Strong background in:
Workday or other similar HRIS
3-5 years involved in compliance-based HR activities (e.g., payroll, benefits, onboarding)
Intermediate skills in MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and requirements
Demonstrated familiarity with federal, state, and local labor requirements such as I-9, FMLA and OFCCP
Ability to effectively communicate expectations and drive results in one-on-one situations in our organization.
