Wayne
State College has been educating students for more than 100 years. Located in Northeast Nebraska, close to Sioux City, Iowa, and within a

Nature of Work:
Responsible for providing instruction in accordance with the philosophy and
objectives of the College.
Teaching will include courses in some of the following areas: agribusiness, ag economics, management,
marketing, and entry-level business administration courses.
The position also involves scholarship, student advising, and service
to the campus, school, department, and region.

Required Qualifications:
Education:
Master’s Degree in required; earned Doctorate preferred. Earned Doctorate will be required for tenure.
Experience: Experience in teaching and in research/scholarship, and experience in effectively using technology to facilitate student
learning and to expand student access preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Economics or appropriate terminal degree highly preferred with a minimum of 18 graduate hours of economics. Ag economics
preferred.
* Five years of relevant work experience
* Proficiency with traditional and online classroom
instruction
* Three years of teaching experience at the college level
