We have an opportunity for a Shipping Clerk to support our warehouse team
Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform clerical duties related to the shipment of materials and finished goods.
- Prepare bills of lading, post weight and shipping charges, and attach shipping instructions.
- Receive in inventory receipt of raw materials, verifying incoming materials against bills of lading, packing slips, etc. and quantity of the materials.
- Distribute materials to proper locations and maintain bin stock levels and inventory records.
- Perform job functions safely and maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Retain productivity related to standards based on assigned task(s).
- Flexibility to work overtime as requested.
- React positively to change.
- Perform other tasks as requested.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year manufacturing or warehouse experience and/or equivalent education, training, or experience in job-related activities.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Ability to drive a forklift (standing, sit down or reach truck) and use a pallet jack.
- Demonstrate effective team and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mathematics and ERP/MRP experience desired.
- This position requires attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Reliable attendance is a must.
