Weelborg Auto has an exciting new opportunity available for a full time corporate human resources manager. Payroll, benefits and human resources experience is a must to be considered for this full time position over multiple Minnesota car dealerships. Locations in Redwood Falls (primary), Glencoe and New Ulm, MN. Awesome benefits package included!

The experienced human resources manager will be responsible for multiple dealership’s payroll and benefits systems and processing. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manages human resource functions including payroll, benefits, human relations and workers’ compensation;
• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, commissions, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions;
• Facilitate internal audits and work with external auditors by providing records and documentation;
• Coordinates recrutiment for the company, including identifying recruitment sources, job postings, evaluating candidates, conducting interviews, and referring qualified candidates. Extends offers of employment, arranges background checks and conducts new hire orientation;
• Ensures legal compliance with all federal and state regulations applicable to the human resource areas such as; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). Monitors human resource processes for compliance, posts notices, maintains records, investigates and resolves employee complaints, and recommends changes necessary to achieve compliance.
• Manages all human resources related records, including separate file systems for personnel records, employment selection process records, I-9 forms (IRCA), equal employment related records, OSHA/workers compensation related records, records related to complaint investigations and employee performance issues. Ensures confidentiality and limited access according to procedure.
• Create statistical reports, conduct analysis, identify opportunities and implements corrective actions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of human resources experience.
• HRIS system experience highly desired.
• 5+ years payroll management with working knowledge of automotive pay plan experience.
