Weitzman Hiring for Recruiter | HR Generalist Job at Dallas, TX Full Time

Our team provides a full range of services including general brokerage, property management, asset management and development services. We operate exclusively in Texas’ major markets: Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

Weitzman is recruiting for an experienced Recruiter | HR Generalist to join the HR team in our Dallas office located in the Uptown area.

Responsibilities of this position include –

• Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available position, industry standards, and needs of the organization
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for positions then facilitate and implement all phases of the recruiting process from posting the position all the way through onboarding the new employee
• Participate in initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition, and training and development
• Assist in the administration of employee benefits including group health insurance, disability, life insurance, FSA, HSA, 401(k), PTO, EAP, workers compensation, and more
• Serve as back-up and assist with payroll processing and department administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience with talent acquisition processes including sourcing/recruiting in a corporate and/or agency environment
• Benefits administration experience strongly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor, friendly, with excellent customer service skills and ability to develop and maintain professional relationships within all areas of the Company as well as with outside resources and vendors
• Organized, detail-oriented, sensitive to deadlines with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and follow up as needed until the task is complete
• Proven ability to work independently as well as cohesively and effectively in a team environment
• Able to handle confidential information with the utmost care and discretion
• Proficient in MS Office and experience or ability to quickly learn applicant tracking system
