We are looking for a QA Nursing leader that is looking to expand their knowledge in Wound Care! We will provide all hands-on training for you to become the Subject Matter Expert for our team at Wesley Acres. You will be responsible for evaluating the quality of resident care, monitor compliance with current laws, process improvements and assist in implementing best practices. As a QA Nurse, you will train staff on new and/or improved LTC and Skilled practices.
Sign on bonus of $5,000!!
This position will work Monday-Friday and will be in an on-call rotation one night per week, every 5th weekend and one holiday a year.
Our QA and Wound Care Nurse will:
- Perform all duties required to direct and manage the skin program for the facility
- Educate nursing team where appropriate regarding wound care best practices and quality assurance measures
- Communicate with physicians, family members, etc regarding resident status
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities
- Perform Quality improvement activities
- Audit skills of nursing team
