Our Behavioral Health Care model allows providers to offer high-quality integrated care to those with the greatest need, who otherwise would not have access to this approach.: We currently have an opening for an Associate Director of Behavioral Health Services. This role will serve as a key member of the Behavioral Health team in implementing behavioral health and evidence-based psychotherapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, to include screening, assessment, referrals, and treatment. This position would start in August 2022.Job Duties:

• Oversight and compliance related to policies, procedures, and day to day management of the Behavioral Health Department, including treatment, documentation, billing practices, crisis management, communication and collaboration with other staff and departments, and outside agencies, providers, and systems.
• Hiring and scheduling of Behavioral Health services staff
• Managing Behavioral Health providers/staff and patient care through performance evaluation, periodic record reviews, including peer review, crisis and risk management and case consultation.
• Participating in behavioral health programmatic, operational, and budgetary planning and development.
• Assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of integrated behavioral health care.
• Participating in the development, planning and implementation of training for Behavioral Health, primary care providers and staff regarding integrated behavioral health services throughout the agency
• Participating as an active member of the Site Management Team
• Develops and maintains required files, records, minutes, reports, and statistical data in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental and agency guidelines
• Represents the agency’s Behavioral Health Services department with funders, the public, and other agencies as needed.
• Works with the Primary Care team and other staff to provide assessment, intervention, and brief and on-going, solution-focused psychotherapy to patients with medical and behavioral health problems within the primary care setting.

Experience & Qualifications:

• LCSW or PhD in Clinical Psychology with a valid California license
• Minimum of three years’ post-license experience working in a clinical field
• Minimum of two years’ experience effectively managing a health or social service program
• Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to problem solve and be self-motivated with acute attention to detail.
• Must have ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Required to have versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and positive attitude.
• Required to have the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move freely about the office and carry light loads (up to 25 pounds)
• Prolonged standing and occasional sitting required.
• Ability to work with office equipment, including computers
