Essential Functions: The essential functions listed are typical examples of the duties to be performed in this position both now and in the future as the business expands. • Be the Authority on Quick-books, Square, EZ-Derm (Electronic Health Record) and all business related efficiency enhancing IT that scales with the business.
• Optimize and forecast revenue and costs by functional area for business strategy and expansion recommendations.
• Analyze competition and evaluate merger or roll-up opportunities in the region.
• Top level point person for all business finance including all revenue and costs to be tabulated daily and reported weekly /

monthly / quarterly / annually to the partnership in collaboration with the current accounting firm.

• Endeavor to pilot and innovate new ideas for patient and data flow to further the mission of being the premier provider of all dermatological services.
• Spearhead all hiring from search to interviewing to recommendations for the partnership.
• Formalize all employee reviews.
• Oversee existing staff and collaborate for optimal time allocation of human resources ensuring all employees meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Managing employed contracts including all quarterly bonus payouts to applicable staff.
• Manage all Insurance contracts for compliance and to maximize timely receipt of payment.
• Payroll bi-monthly.
• Managing Benefits, tracking payroll deductions etc.
• PQRS/MIPS/CMS benchmarking.
• Assess patient flow and assurance of top quality patient care and experience.
• Coordinate and implement space planning and construction if applicable of any renovation or large scale expansion.
• Oversee and approve purchase and / or leases of all office equipment for physicians and staff both medical and operational.
• Ensure best practices and lessons learned in his/her areas are shared across the various teams as quickly as possible in an effort to optimize the quality of service across all functional areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required and MBA preferred.Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare business management, private practice dermatology preferred, clinical services, or related field, equivalent of education and work experience acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Understanding of medical clinic operations, compliance, and quality requirements related to provision of healthcare services.
• Demonstrated success working with physicians in existing relationships and developing new relationships required.
• Must have highly developed leadership abilities and a reputation for entrepreneurial spirit.
• Requires strong communication skills and experience/knowledge in financial management and the latest process improvement tools.
• Comprehensive and working knowledge of practice management systems.
• Familiarity with laws and regulations related to healthcare delivery compliance.
• High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a team atmosphere.
• Able to solve problems, and deal with variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with employees, management, physicians and other staff to promote teamwork and a positive public image.

Working Conditions:

General office environment. The ability to visit other area locations upon occasion for analysis or research purposes.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
