General Job Summary
Review, evaluate, and submit to Director for approval, education and training programs
for the enrollment of veterans and other eligible persons seeking education and training benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans
Affairs under the Montgomery and Post 9/11 GI Bills®.
As the State Approving Agency, conduct compliance actions at all
facilities with at least one veteran/dependent enrolled to verify enrollment data, award actions, and previous payment for accuracy and
ensure that payments made to eligible veterans and their dependents are keeping with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
(USDVA) and federal regulations.
Classification: Full-time, Non-Classified, Exempt, Benefits-Eligible.
This position is funded via Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of related
experience; or Master’s Degree with 1 year of related experience; or Doctoral Degree required. Degree should be in management,
business administration, education, legal studies, education administration or related field.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
The
successful candidate will be required to obtain/maintain Veteran’s Administration security clearance and background check and
obtain/maintain a federal Personal Identification Verification (PIV) card.
