SUMMARY
Performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties associated with vehicle documentation, such as titles, registrations, license plates, and other vehicle or owner information. Helps with inventory tracking, record keeping, and reporting, as well as managing contractual documentation with numerous financial institutions. All responsibilities will be performed in a professional mannerism which positively affects the customer’s (internal and external) perception of the dealership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Timely process all billings to include new and used car retail, wholesale, and swaps
· Process DMV within regulated time frame
· Package all funding contracts
· Log information into VERIFY
· Log-deals being sent to accounting department
· Stock in new and used car inventory
· Maintain up to date police, plate, and in-transit books according to NYS regulations
· Ensure deal compliance prior to releasing any DMV documents to sales/finance department
· Post wholesale deals prior to sending to accounting (must be done within 24 hours of receiving deal)
· Create an up to date DMV log which includes any DMV issues/concerns, missing documents
· Submit check request for any DMV refunds to accounting with copy of registration
· Assist General Manager/Controller as requested with DMV process and procedure
· Processing of rebates
· NVDR/RDR vehicles
