Western Colorado University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty in Business Administration (law).
The Business School at Western has over 400 majors. Students can choose a standard business major or one of six emphasis areas along with programs in accounting and economics. Duties:
Teaching responsibilities include: legal environment of business, business law, water law, environmental law, and other law-related courses. Teaching courses in the business core, in the candidate’s area of expertise, is possible. Responsibilities include teaching 24 semester credits per year, academic advising, program building/recruiting, service to the university, and continued professional development.
Qualifications:
A J.D. or Ph.D. with an emphasis in law or a closely related field is required. ABD will be considered. Candidates must have a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate education and excellence in teaching. Collegiality and professional flexibility are characteristic of the Business School and would be expected in the successful candidate.
