ACCOUNTING/HR MANAGER
GENERAL
· Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision.
· Maintain required business documents.
· Perform projects and other related duties as may be requested by the
owner.
ACCOUNTING
· Accounts Payable including reconciling vendor accounts and maintaining
vendor records.
· Administration of monthly sales tax returns.
· Assistance with the annual budget and audit process.
· Daily count and reconciliation of cash, bags, and credit transactions from
previous day against Dealership Management System.
· Full cycle Accounts Receivable, including reconciling customer accounts,
and maintaining customer records.
· General Ledger maintenance; preparation adjusting journal entries.
· Issue checks timely and accurately for all company purchases.
· Maintain accounts receivable accounts. Ensure prompt receipt of funds
due.
· Maintain payable records and monitor vendor payment terms for
accuracy.
· New vendor setup and maintenance.
· Maintain financial document retention files.
· Ordering change as needed to ensure registers have appropriate funds.
· Post journal entries as needed to accounting software.
HR
· Update and maintain job descriptions and organizational charts, as
appropriate.
· Responsible for new employee onboarding.
· Schedule and facilitate employee events such as employee
recognition/appreciation activities, and wellness activities.
· Coordinate travel plans for dealership employees as needed.
· Administer unemployment claims. Respond to unemployment claims and
represent the company for any unemployment hearings.
· Keep up-to-date on industry trends and employment laws.
· Maintain Human Resources Information System records with specific
emphasis on benefits.
· Oversee and conduct the hiring process.
· Respond to employee inquiries including benefit questions.
· Assist in the administration of benefit programs.
· Assist with benefits and open enrollment.
· Oversee the administration of COBRA notifications.
· Provide “hands-on” support to departmental managers with regard to
dealership hiring practices.
PAYROLL
· Compile payroll information to process payrolls using accounting
software functionality.
· Payroll processing.
· Process monthly commission checks.
VEHICLES
· Ensure accurate freight charges against email or paper freight invoices,
and assign each unit the correct freight cost.
· Assign Stock Numbers, MSRP, and Freight on each vehicle added to
inventory.
· Gather invoices for new units and input into inventory according to each
manufacturer’s standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
