Basic Purpose of this job:

To manage all HR and Operations of the practice. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Areas of Responsibilities:

HR and Management

• Implements guidelines, policies, and procedures in conjunction with providers. Interprets and communicates guidelines and procedures to the staff. Drafts guidelines and recommendations. Develops, reviews, and updates office protocols.
• Hires—advertise, screen, interview potential candidates
• Orientation, training, benefits set up,
• Security set-up of building and computer access
• Daily problem-solving coverage for clinic, software, and computer issues,
• Training
• Dissemination of new policies and changes to protocols/workflows
• Ensures training and cross-training of all staff members.
• Discipline
• Counsel employees regarding patient complaints, personality disputes, various policies, attendance, dress, cell phones, food, etc.…
• Workflows
• Streamline workflows as we all learned the new PM and EMR systems,
• Continue to evaluate workflows as needs change
• Coordinate duties among all staff and with all departments
• Annual Reviews and probationary reviews
• Monitor corrective actions for compliance
• Requires knowledge of fair labor practices, labor laws and wage acts and human resources best practices for
• Monthly staff meetings
• Compile agendas for monthly staff meetings
• Review and train, if necessary, on new policies, discuss improved workflows.

Operations

• Contract with buying plan and various vendors to garner lower costs for medical supplies and office supplies and equipment
• Contact Exscsibe Support and work closely with IT and Trainers to resolve glitches
• Review Contracts periodically both insurance and operational contracts
• Facilitate with Administrative Assistant and Clinical Manager to track all MIPS/MACRA measures and QPP initiatives for each doctor and entire practice to ensure compliance with each measure
• Train staff and doctors on proper workflows and documentation to meet measures and requirements
• Measures with shortfalls addressed with the MA to retrain or institute new workflow
• Continually attend webinars and training sessions
• Track that incentive monies are paid by CMS
• Keep current all HIPPA Security, Cyber Security and Security Risk Analyses
• Periodic walk-through office to monitor for potential breech of security
• Staff Training and awareness of red flag warnings of security lapses
• Participate in COPIC Chart Audit
• Other Duties as assigned or as they arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
