General Summary:
Manages and directs the company’s sales and marketing strategies and associated resources to achieve sales and customer relationship goals by performing the following:

Job Scope:
This job has recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm. Duties involve a moderate degree of complexity due to the nature of managing the sales staff and steel fabrication sales.
Duties are performed under indirect supervision of the General Manager. Errors in accuracy, judgment, service, and level of professionalism affect the smooth and efficient operation of the sales department, ultimately impacting profitability and customer and staff trust levels.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises all the sales and marketing department employees, including hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, performance reviews and documentation of all pertinent employment records.
Interpersonal Contacts:
Contacts are made both inside and outside the company. Internal contacts include the General Manager, the sales staff, managers and staff of the departments of Accounting, Purchasing, Fabrication,
Engineering, and Warehouse. External contacts include customers, vendors and distributors.
