The Medical Records Coder will be accountable for conversion of diagnoses and treatment procedures into codes using an international classification of diseases and ensures that records are coded in an accurate and timely manner. Must have a minimum of 2 years clerical experience, basic computer knowledge, knowledge of diagnoses/procedures in accordance with ICD-10-CM/PCS/CPT coding principles, and ability to work with physicians/providers in a collaborative manner; 2 years hospital experience as a Coder preferred. Completion of Certified Coding Associate(CCA) and/or Certified Coding Specialist(CCS) from American Health Information Management Association(AHIMA) OR Certified Professional Coder Hospital(CPC-H) from the American Academy of Professional Coders(AAPC) OR equivalent certification OR successful completion of certification within one year of hire. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
