Executing compliance activities associated with the onboarding of contractor personnel that involve: securing approvals, collecting and reviewing documentation, registration of resources, initiating and monitoring completion of required training, etc.
Use workflow/case management tools as well as document repositories to maintain documentation of all critical onboarding control activities in a central file retained for audit purposes.
Communicating with project teams, contingent workers and/or their suppliers with a high degree of professionalism to ensure candidate provides all the required information and documentation; manage issues/exceptions that may arise throughout the on-boarding process and coordinate with engagement manager and sourcing hub to resolve those exceptions.
Monitoring the completion of background checks for each contingent worker; escalating if issues arise and following up on adverse background check results.
Assisting the requester/hub to meet audit independence requirements for groups of contingent workers and their suppliers.
After a contingent worker starts, monitoring compliance with post-onboarding compliance requirements and updating case files for central reporting when complete.
Monitoring ongoing certification activities such as compliance with periodic training requirements.
For new onboarding requests, monitoring the progress of the contingent worker on-boarding tasks required to confirm the resource is cleared to start
Following documented SOPs to complete all compliance activities.
Answering questions received from project teams regarding compliance requirements and candidate status.
1-5 years of recent HR onboarding/compliance experience with either employees or contingent workers (contract rate is dependent on experience level)
Working knowledge of core technologies (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint)
Experience with ServiceNow or other workflow-driven case management tools is preferred but not required
Vendor management experience, with working knowledge of VMS platforms (e.g. WAND, Beeline) is preferred but not required
Self-learner, quick study, tech savvy, strong analytic skills, attention to detail, ability to follow multi-faceted SOPs and contracts, project and time management, verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders (including partners and directors).
Associate’s degree from an accredited college/university
