Whiteface Club & Resort Hiring for Restaurant Server Job at Lake Placid, NY Full Time

Join a fun team of individuals working through the summer and into the fall at the Whiteface Club & Resort. We have positions available for experienced servers for our two a la carte venues, the Moose Lodge Boathouse and the Cafe on the Green.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Arrive on time, as scheduled, in uniform
• Café Shifts: Days starting at 11:00 a.m. Moose Lodge Lunch: 10:30-4/Moose Lodge Dinner: 4-10pm
• Moose Lodge servers may be expected to work cocktail hour of weddings
• Duties will include: completing designated side work (both opening and closing), proficient use of current POS system, checking restaurant inventories daily to insure adequate supply with manager, make sure appropriate beverages are chilled at all times, keep restaurant clean throughout shift and in immediate working condition for following shift, keep track of and clean all glassware, communicate clearly, politely and respectfully with guests, coworkers in both front and back of house, and anyone encountered on the Whiteface Club and Resort grounds

COMPENSATION

• Servers will receive hourly wage.along with received/declared shift tips
• Overtime will not be required but may occur
• Pay checks will arrive weekly on Fridays
• Benefits include: free golf, free tennis, use of Waterfront on property, and 50% discount on food

Our season begins with the opening of the golf course and our Cafe on the Green the first week of May which we operate through the close of our season in October. The Moose Lodge Operates from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day weekend.
