Position Summary
Provide support to evaluation and research activities necessary to programs at
William James College. Support the Director, Program Development, Monitoring, and Evaluation and the rest of the team through participation
in program-specific and departmental meetings, liaising with project directors, aiding social/behavioral science research endeavors, and
fulfilling data-related requirements including management, cleaning, and analysis. Work alongside graduate student research assistants to
support the Office of PDM&E. Provide support to the IRB (Institutional Review Board) serving as a Human Protections Administrator by
completing IRB processing tasks.
This is a dynamic role. The research assistant interacts with administration and faculty across
departments and programs. The daily/weekly tasks follow a semi-predictable fluctuation as certain parts of the year involve different tasks.
For example, during certain periods, the whole PDM&E team is focused on report writing, while during others, the team is more focused on
data collection and regular consultative tasks.
Attention: All applicants will be expected to complete a skills assessment or a test
and will be expected to explain how they completed their task – before they are invited to an interview.
