DISHWASHER
Williamsburg Landing, a CARF-accredited Life Plan Community, seeks a part-time Dishwasher to join our Dining Services Team. Ideal candidates must be dependable, maintain positive interaction with residents, guests, and staff, be able to use safe operating procedures and exercise judgement, and possess a high level of motivation.
DISHWASHER JOB DUTIES
- Washes and sanitizes all dishes, pots, pans and food preparation equipment
- Empties kitchen garbage/trash and sanitizes containers
- Sweeps, mops and foams kitchen floor, refrigerator/freezer and storeroom
- Assists Purchasing Coordinator as needed
- Maintains cleanliness of all walls in kitchen and serving line area
- May transport linens, equipment, and foods between buildings
- Assists in moving heavy equipment and furniture when needed
DISHWASHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior relevant work experience preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English; ability to follow verbal and written directions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; requires standing and walking for duration of shift
- Must obtain a Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of employment

PAY
Starting rate of pay is $15.50/hour
