This position is responsible for mechanical system maintenance, which includes maintenance of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, refrigeration systems, food service equipment; and minor repairs and maintenance of appliance, plumbing and electrical equipment, minor construction of wood and masonry projects. Perform a variety of maintenance and repair work on complicated and intricate equipment in the areas of power plant. Also, for fabrication of metal projects as assigned, this includes welding and sheet metal work.
Qualifications
Minimally qualified applicants will have experience of training in the following:
- Building construction and repair concepts or techniques
- Mechanical repairs
- Performing, Directing or Supervising general cleaning to maintain buildings or properties
- Operating grounds maintenance equipment
A well-qualified applicant will have experience with the following:
- Maintaining or repairing critical components of building systems (e.g. A/C refrigeration, heating, water feed, cooling/ventilation, heating, waste water systems etc.)
- Performing preventative maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
