We’re looking for a talented Front End Developer who will play a pivotal role in managing platforms and processes that support our DTC and B2B business channels.
Role and purpose within the organization:
Building out a custom user experience on top of Shopify
Working with Shopify third party applications to extend the functionality of our store
Working closely with marketing and creative on design changes, landing pages, and additions to the website
Troubleshooting escalated support issues / bugs relating to website functionality
Create e-commerce design with a mobile-first approach
Conducting user research and user testing to validate design decisions
Work closely with the Design team to create best-in-class e-commerce experience
Document intended functionality, behaviors and interactions in collaboration with the project team to produce a technical specification
Use of research and insight to inform/influence product direction and resulting roadmap.
Required experience and skill:
3+ years of relevant development experience in fast-paced environments
2+ years of experience building within Shopify’s theme ecosystem
eCommerce Platforms including Shopify, Shipstation, Yotpo, Recharge, Retention Science, Klaviyo, Swell Rewards, and Zendesk
Google Workspace business landscape
Expert development experience working across JS / Liquid / HTML / Sass / CSS
Experience with headless commerce is a plus
Strong knowledge and experience with 3rd party integrations
Proficiency with build tools, Webpack, preprocessors, and asset pipeline
Proficiency with collaborative tools like Git
Bring user insight and design expertise to inform product direction.
Sound understanding of cross-browser, SEO, accessibility and usability design for the web
Remote working experience with an aptitude for collaboration, communication, and adaptability that is key to a remote environment with a team
