Woodleaf Eating Disorder Center Hiring for Intake Therapist Sought-Virtual Job at Remote Full Time

The longest running eating disorder center in San Francisco, CA Woodleaf Eating Disorder Center has been providing compassionate care to clients with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder since 2007. We pride ourselves on our compassionate care and our long term staff has created an atmosphere of safety where clients can truly heal and recover.

We are currently seeking an intake therapist to provide assessments to prospective clients. The hours are very flexible and work well with a private practice or other position. You can work virtually or if desired also work in our San Francisco Hayes Valley office. You give us your availability and we schedule intake only according to that. We need 1-3 intake assessment per week. We will consider someone who could only do 1-2 per week. Compensation is per intake assessment and is very good. We are hoping to have someone join our team long term and there is room for growth if desired (you could potentially see 1 to 2 individual clients, but not required). Most of our staff have been with us 8 +years and it is a great place to work with a lot of care for our clients.

Job requirements and qualifications:

*Seeking highly professional and compassionate clinician who has the ability to form a strong therapeutic alliance in person or virtually.
*Must be able to understand and articulate program information to answer detailed client questions.

*Must hold a California State MFT, LCSW, PHD or PsyD license.

*Maintains and holds excellent boundaries, organized and detail oriented.
*Displays a warmth and knowledge to help clients feel safe and heard.
*Candidates need to be able to articulate our program information and mission/philosophy.
*Knowledge and direct experience in eating disorders preferred (passion about the topic with great clinical skills goes along way too!).
*Licensed clinician MFT, LCSW, PsyD, Phd preferred. *We will also consider an advanced level intern.
