Position Summary
Workiz is looking for a passionate HR to join our growing team. This role is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on our success and enable our growth with hiring excellent people and shaping Workiz People infrastructures and culture. As the HR manager in the USA (located in San Diego, CA), you’d be the main focal point for employees and managers, responsible for quality hiring and of building and maintaining our unique culture in our USA offices.
We work in a hybrid model of three days at the office and two days at your choice.
Who you are:
An HR Expert with a passion for people and a can do approach. You’re creative and always keep an open mind. You have at least 5 years of HR and recruiting experience in a high-tech environment and know how to execute projects in a timely manner and multitask on different initiatives. You also have great interpersonal skills and the ability to consult with employees to get them through various situations.
As An HR Manager, You Will
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and become their trusted recruitment partner, provide guidance and help them build excellent teams, facilitate the hiring processes and serve as a focal point for recruitment issues under your responsibility
Assess candidates qualifications and personality to match the position requirements and company culture, including job postings, screening resumes, phone interviews, and reference checks
Source for potential candidates and work with recruiting agencies
Engage talent and create an amazing candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Provide guidance and support in the areas of staff management and development, performance management, risk management/legal compliance, employee relations and HR policy interpretation
Lead key HR processes, including compensation, promotions, and performance appraisal
Identify and propose changes to policy and/or processes to better serve employee populations and meet the needs of the business
HR Point of contact to our employees and managers for various employee-related activities (i.e., On/Offboarding, training, development, retention, etc.)
Plan and execute employees experience activities
The position will be part of our HR team, reporting to the Head of HR in Israel
Requirements:
At least five years of experience as a recruiter/HR Specialist in a global /international high-tech fast-paced environment – Must
High level of discretion – ability to deal with highly confidential information appropriately
Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and problem solving skills; ability to effectively address tricky situations and have difficult conversations
Strong customer focus
Strong orientation toward collaboration and teaming
Willingness to participate in calls across time zones as needed
Self starter with strong organization skills/detail orientation – ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Hands-on experience with various hiring processes (sourcing, phone and frontal interviews, reference checks, etc.)
Previous experience in organizing welfare activities
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
