The primary purpose of the Vice President for Upstream Midstream will be to build the business in Upstream Midstream business and capability in the region, aligned to Worley Consultings strategy and business plan. This will involve positioning Worley Consulting to capture a significant market share of the advisory market as the region builds and repurposes infrastructure to transition the traditional energy to low carbon value chains. A high level of collaboration is required across with the Worley Consulting Hubs to address the Sector. The role is responsible for the identification of the market, the development of the value proposition for Worley Consulting, the acquisition or development of capability and the pursuit, conversion, and delivery of assignments to ensure client satisfaction and maximise company profitability. The Vice President will also play a key role in mentoring and coaching of more junior staff and others and ensuring knowledge transfer throughout the business.

Key Objectives and Accountabilities

• Identify the addressable market and the value proposition for Worley Consulting with the Upstream Midstream Sector
• Establish key client relationships that translate into actual sales and a pipeline of prospective sales
• Develop a team that can capture the market for the Upstream and Midstream Sectors
• Pursues and secures work to meet financial targets and growth plans of the company
• Builds and maintains a strong network both internally and externally
• Manage and oversee execution of multiple assignments to ensure satisfactory outcomes are achieved for the customer and Worley Consulting
• Foster collaboration across Worley Consultingand Worley and across the identified industry sectors
• Proactively develops Worley Consultingknowledge/asset base and is a known knowledge leader
• Identifies strategies to impart tacit knowledge throughout the business
• Drives Worley Consultingcorporate values and is an advocate of the culture
• Builds high performing teams and provides opportunities for others to develop
• Proactively contribute to the culture of the business and participates in activities to drive employee engagement
• Effectively mentors’ others and has a strong source of followership
• Builds the reputation and credibility of Worley Consultingacross key market sectors through research papers, speaking engagements, interviews, thought leadership etc.
• Proactively seeks client feedback both on engagements and on the overall relationships
• Contributes to building Worley Consultingfor the future and contributes to internal initiatives

Skills and Competencies Required

• Demonstrates leadership qualities required to develop a business within the Sector
• Strong skills in analysis and problem solving

• Minimum 15 years practical industry experience
• Solid track record in business development and sales generation
• Built, acquired and lead teams in professional service business or project environment
• Well-developed network in the North Americas market
• Exceptional communicator who can influence others

Complementary Capabilities

• Experience in providing strategic and advisory solutions to clients in Decarbonisation of the Upstream Midstream Sector.
• Demonstrated flexible and adaptable approach and able to operate in different ways in different situations
• Strong background in Upstream and Midstream
• Strong background in Decarbonisation Advisory
• Exposure working with both Government and Private Sector in the Decarbonisation

Qualifications & experience

• Candidates with university education in engineering and business, finance or economics an advantage
