XOOR Hiring for Full Stack Developer – React/Node at Remote Full Time

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a senior Full-Stack Web Developer with great skills in React and Node.js.

As a Full-Stack Developer at XOOR, you’ll be responsible for developing and designing pixel perfect front-end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of web applications. You’ll also be responsible of defining, planning and implementing robust backend systems that allow applications to scale with no problems.

You’ll work alongside with the tech lead to help shaping the full tech stack of different kinds of web apps for our clients. You’ll also work closely with the rest of the development team participating on estimations and planning of project sprints.

The end goal is not only to build powerful, responsive and robust applications but also to collaborate with the rest of the dev team by doing code reviews and suggesting improvements.

THINGS YOU’LL BE DOING

• Code modern, pixel perfect and reusable components with React
• Code backend APIs with Node.js
• Connect the frontend with GraphQL or REST data APIs
• Build, test and maintain modular components
• Integrate with several external services like payment gateways, maps engines or headless CMSs
• Work together with the technical lead and the development team to deliver high quality results

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 4+ years of recent experience with React
• 3+ years of recent experience with Node.js
• 3+ years of experience with at least one modern DBMS
• Strong expertise with JavaScript
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS
• Feel very comfortable sharing knowledge
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Fluent English is a must

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with Next.js is a big plus
• Experience with Firebase (auth, messaging, realtime database)
• Experience with frontend and backend unit testing
