About us

Y2 Academy of North Wales is an academic learning center. Students are tutored in various subjects to enrich and further their skill sets so that the students will be able to have success in their school. We offer test preparation classes as well as elementary ELA & Math classes.

Teaching positions are available for certified teachers or teachers with experience for our Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 school year. Small groups or one on one tutoring. This is a contract part time position for 16-32 teaching days or one on one tutoring from August 2022 to May 2023. We are looking for English, Math (SAT I, SAT II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus), and Science instructors. We also have a need for an Elementary Teacher grades 3 to 8. In August, MWF (12 PM to 4:30 PM). During the school year, Teaching / Tutoring time will be after school hours (4 PM to 7 PM) or Saturday hours ( 10 AM to 4:30 PM).

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All students and teachers are required to be vaccinated. Masks are required and the students are separated at least 3 feet apart from each other. Every day, all surfaces are sanitized and cleaned.

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Teaching Certification (Preferred)
