Through the newly established YMCA Managed Services Organization this is a unique opportunity to service and support the efforts and mission of the YMCA across multiple states and many associations. This is a fully remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:
Works with the Director of Human Resources to provide HR services in the areas of hiring and employee record management for multiple YMCA associations across multiple states.
Responsible for administering the hiring and acquisition processes by posting job openings, facilitating new hire onboardings, ensuring a positive interview and onboarding process, as well as monitoring that as an association best practices are being followed.
Ensures employee records are accurately maintained through completing position changes, terminations, re-verifications of I-9’s, training/certification tracking, and employment verification.
Develops collaborative relationships with community youth-serving institutions, including schools, youth agencies, parks and recreation, and service clubs.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources generalist experiences with a focus in the areas of recruiting/ hiring preferred.
Proven ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Customer-service focus, with demonstrated experience dealing successfully with front-line internal and external customers.
Possess sound technical skills, analytical ability and good judgement.
Well-organized and self-directed individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
Experience in administering and ensuring compliance of human resources policies, programs and practices: including planning, organizing, developing, implementing, coordinating, and directing.
Prior experience with non-profit/social services organizations preferred.
