POSITION SUMMARY
The Strategy Associate will contribute to the portfolio of strategic projects with the Zoetis HR team. The Associate will develop project plans, play a key role in project management and delivery of HR workstreams, and report on progress and risks. You will be responsible for creating, managing, and executing various projects to standardize and strengthen HR practices across the organization. You will also provide relevant insights to influence HR decisions, address key challenges and concerns, and identify new ways to improve operational excellence within HR. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of HR Strategic Initiatives, the selected candidate will work closely with the Head of HR Strategic Initiatives, HR Business Partners, HR COEs, and other key stakeholders throughout the business to ensure the smooth delivery of HR processes and projects.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to and manage projects across the HR organization including tracking and reporting on status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Assess project portfolios and drive prioritization for tasks within the HR organization.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to integrate HR strategy across the business.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Incumbent will interact with the HRLT and broader HR team, and other functions as required to complete strategic projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of experience planning and executing projects of varying size and complexity, preferably within HR
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects with competing priorities
- Experience collaborating across multiple partner groups and communicating with multiple stakeholders
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices and processes preferred
- Experience in a complex, matrixed, global organization preferred
- Possesses or able to quickly develop a strong understanding of the animal health business and Zoetis
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency with project planning tools
- Experience scheduling, coordinating calendars and using collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
- Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred
