POSITION SUMMARY

Chinese fluency required for a vice regional manager to assist the regional manager in achieving all business goals in the company. Plan, direct, or coordinate parts, after-sales and continuous product improvement processes, policies, program, and daily operations. Ensure sufficient administrative and service support in all after-market activities, and efficient product management for continuously increasing competitiveness in product offering. Monitor trends in aftermarket and keep looking for new growth points.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Assist the regional manager in managing all business aspects and coordinating with headquarter and all business units on daily basis.
• Formulate, direct and coordinate warranty, parts and service support activities and policies to ensure satisfactory support to dealers, rental houses, and end-users.
• Identify, develop, and evaluate parts and service support strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
• Identify, develop, and evaluate product strategy to ensure product competitiveness via knowledge on market demand and preference, insight on differentiation, consideration on manufacturing capability.
• Identify direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of parts and service staff and oversee their daily activities.
• Evaluate the financial aspects of after-market activities and product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
• Compile lists describing product or service offerings.
• Establish product & training processes and prepare training materials to offer quality training to all dealers and rental houses.
• Oversee all shipping and receiving activities in the warehouse.
• Manage and control inventories both in the warehouse and offsite.
• Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings on competitor’s products and after-market system.
• Use daily business records and market feedbacks to define high frequency parts list and look for improvements on after-market activity efficiency.
• Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or dealers to market products or services.
• Maintain records for all warranty and service-related activities.
• Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services.
• Generate presentations for product features, product comparison versus competitors, and parts & service .
• Negotiate contracts with vendors or distributors to manage parts distribution, establishing parts distribution networks or developing parts distribution strategies.
• Work with internal and external parties on product portfolio management and product specifications such as design, configuration, color, or packaging.
• Advise business or other groups on local, national, or international factors affecting the buying or selling of products or services.
• Confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement or royalty sharing with outside producers or distributors.
• Implement actions to increase and promote service revenue.
• Develop sales forecasts and quotas, sales incentives, sales methods and training programs for parts and service support.
• Recommend modifications to products, packaging, production processes, or other characteristics to improve the environmental soundness or sustainability of products.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Engineering, Mechanics, Marketing or Business Administration

Experience: 5 years of experience in service or management position of Construction Equipment industry or mobile industry.

Must be fluent in Chinese.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); familiarity with SAP or ERP (preferred) business systems, CAD is a plus.
