Zurich Insurance Company Ltd Hiring for End User Computing – Software Packaging Engineer at Schaumburg, IL Full Time

Zurich is currently searching for an End User Computing Software Packaging Engineer.

As a member of the End User Technology team supporting Zurich’s End User environment, the Software packaging Engineer will focus on delivery of a consistent product and computing experience to the Zurich North America workforce. The Software Packaging engineer role will expand End User Computing capabilities in these areas as well as address Software packaging, testing.

The End User Computing Software Packaging Engineer will be responsible for:

• Software packaging and distribution
• Performing software packaging, testing process, ensuring compliance at local and global guidelines
• Providing incident resolution support that ensures end user satisfaction
• Working closely with EUC Platform manager to support implementing policies, procedures, and systems and following through with implementation
• Communicating customer issues with operations team and devising ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of experience in the information technology area

OR

• Zurich Cybersecurity Technician Apprentice, including Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the information technology area

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the information technology area

AND

• MS Office experience
• Knowledge of information technology operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving analytical skills
• Able to develop and drive initiatives with minimal oversight or guidance
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Experience in Software packaging which includes packaging of Software, Testing Incident resolution.
• Experience in tools like Service now, Active Directory
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Config Manager (Previously known as SCCM), Microsoft Intune tools
• Knowledge of Windows 10
