Summary:

The Software Engineer – Global Security position will primarily work in our asset sustainment team. This individual should be open to implementing software on a variety of Embedded platforms, as well as coding all levels of a product from low level drivers to high level application code. An individual may work directly with a customer to help determine customer needs, as well as lead medium sized teams by using customer needs to document project scope, write white papers, and develop a schedule with deliverables. Additionally, they will be expected to lead medium sized engineering teams in a collaborative research and development environment that encourages people to learn, discover, and do new things as new projects present themselves.

You Must Have:

* U.S. citizenship required in order to obtain and maintain government security clearance
* Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other equivalent
* ABET accredited Engineering program
* 3 years or more of progressive work experience

We Value:

* Experience with Embedded system development using Linux for a new target platform
* Experience using a variety of languages such as C, C++, VB, Assembly, and Python
* Experience creating GUI applications
* Knowledge of software engineering design, coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting
* techniques, across all phases of an application development lifecycle.
* Hands on electrical testing and troubleshooting
* Experience in translating system performance and operational specifications into software requirements, design, and test specifications
* Experience leading teams of engineers to accomplish complex software development projects
* Ability to define, investigate and lead a technical team to solve engineering problems
* Goal oriented, a positive, can-do, get the job done attitude
* Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
