Description:

Kaizen Automotive Group is looking for someone with a passion for graphic design to work for us. The successful candidate will be a versatile and creative individual who can collaborate and work well with others, and is motivated to continuously improve.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Newspaper and magazine ad design – the candidate will be designing ads for multiple dealerships with tight deadlines.
• Print advertising – including, but not limited to: brochures, signage, general stationery, invitations
• Web/Digital Assets – this includes web banners, UI graphics, digital signage
• Developing and updating websites with Content Management Systems
• Building HTML newsletters
• Creating tracking URLs

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience and ability to create effective print and digital advertisements.
• Artistic sensibility – the candidate understands the principles of graphic design, demonstrating knowledge of design elements including colour, type, and composition.
• Artistic creativity – the candidate will be able to adapt to a wide variety of concepts and ideas for creative work
• Quality control – take responsibility for ensuring consistency and maintaining a quality standard for all outgoing creative material
• Copywriting – ability to create persuasive, creative, and attention-grabbing advertising copy
• Must be highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
• Can demonstrate the ability to communicate through design
• A keen eye for detail
• Motivated to deliver high quality work
• Strong time management and well-organized
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
