We are recruiting for an Agency Operations Manager. This is a salaried position and pay would be base upon experience.
Our customer is an Insurance Agency with 5 locations in Central PA and is looking for a motivated, experienced, and customer focused and motivated Property & Casualty, Life & Health Managing Agent to join their team to assist in growing the business, and creating a successful team. Responsibilities include the following:
- Manage operations and productivity at our insurance agency at all our five locations.
- Resolve conflicts or complaints from customers and employees.
- Delegating responsibilities and supervising business operations.
- Motivate the employees to increase productivity.
- Assist in claims management when necessary to facilitate.
- Identify and analyze risks associated with policies.
- Achieve target budgets.
- Minimize risk of financial loss.
- Review insurance policies.
- Promote the insurance agency to customers who need insurance.
- Network with potential customers.
- Educate customers on each type of insurance coverage and make recommendations based on their needs.
- Evaluate current insurance policies and recommend additional coverage when needed.
- Maintain all insurance documents in a confidential way.
- Obtain and oversee Agency management systems.
- Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Time and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service to customer and support to staff members.
- Must travel between five locations. Transportation is provided.
- Sales experience required.
- Must have at least 5 years experience.
- Must have Property & Casualty License
- Oversee all insurance lines, personal and commercial, onboarding of new employees, manage 15-20 employees.
- Administering benefits, HR related information, hiring and firing, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
