Accounts Payable Specialist – AccountingDescriptionReporting directly into the Senior Manager of Accounting, this role is responsible to help process, track and record payments in an accurate, efficient and timely manner which includes the duties of daily bookkeeping and record keeping, ongoing impact on financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits.Responsibilities* Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs for separate entities and vendor* Responsible for reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment* Process and prioritize invoices to maximize working capital needs* Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors* Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies* Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in compliance with company policy and internal control requirements* Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts* Assist with other projects as neededQualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred* Accounts Payable or Accounting experience 1+ years* Proficiency with invoicing and vendor management* Able to multi-task and manage deadlines in a public company environment* Comfortable liaising with various business leaders across the company and external parties* Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface at all levels both internally & externally* Must be detailed-oriented & organizedAbout Aterian Group Holdings, Inc.Aterian Group Holdings, Inc. and subsidiaries, including Aterian Group, Inc.
