Controller needed for a high-volume Georgia dealership group west of Atlanta.
Job responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly financial statements within each manufacturer’s format and time frame.
- Provides department managers with detailed financial and management reports.
- Maintains effective internal controls to safeguard cash and other company assets.
- Reviews the general ledger and scheduled accounts on a regular basis.
- Reviews account reconciliations for cash, reserve accounts, factory, and floor plan payables.
- Maintains compliance with government regulations, including filing and/or maintaining of required forms, payroll tax reporting, sales tax, etc.
- Supervise centralized accounting office and ensure the accounting staff is adequately trained.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Experience Needed
- 3-5 years’ experience as an automotive controller or in public accounting.
- CPA and accounting degree preferred, but not required.
- Competitive compensation and relocation package offered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
