Job Summary

USA Groups, ComServ is currently hiring experienced Top Hands. We are a telecommunications company with the headquarters located in Sarasota, Florida. We are currently expanding our in house L&A crews and are looking for qualified motivated individuals within the geographical location of Sarasota/Tampa FL. • Must maintain and enforce the USA ComServ safety program, ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed, and stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
• Assist Crew to ensure quality service to clients
• Recognize and perform duties within OSHA safety guidelines as well as all applicable safety laws and policies
• Work effectively both individually and with other crew members
• Handle transportation of equipment
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
• Travel up to 100%
• Must be willing to climb in excess of 500 feet.
• Must be willing to travel outside of Florida
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a tower climber required
• Current certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue required
• Ability to climb, at least, a 500′ telecommunications tower required
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 75lbs required
• Ability to crouch, kneel, twist, reach, grasp and climb with both hands and legs required
• Availability to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours required and some holidays
• Technical knowledge of wireless telecommunications products required
• Anritsu, PIM and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred but not required
• Excel, Word and Outlook Microsoft experience preferred but not required
