ROLE DESCRIPTION
Baltimore Corps seeks a detail-oriented, proactive professional to serve as Manager ofOperations. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance and Operations, the person in thisrole will implement and manage scalable programs and efficient systems; manage theoperations process, and execute an operations strategy that embraces design, planning,control, and performance improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONS (75%)
Systems thinking: Develop and manage internal systems; and train staff. ? Collaborate with the Deputy Director of Finance and Operations to develop, implement, and maintain operational systems across the organization.
Determine organizational needs against department requirements and restraints ? Develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures
Develop processes for enhancement of program operational systems ? Test, evaluate and maintain financial systems; grant tracking systems; contractor systems; and other human resources benefit systems
Support in the development and enhancement of the employee onboarding and offboarding process
Analyze process workflow, employee and program requirements, andorganization layout; implement changes as needed.
Work with the Deputy Director of Finance and Operations to forecastoperational requirements by program, prepare an annual budget for processenhancements, analyze variances, and initiate corrective action
With input from the Deputy Director of Finance and Operations, create anorganization-wide process improvement and operational strategy:
Design, manage, and improve the internal operations system
Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures toenhance and sustain the organizations internal capacity
Keep costs within a defined budget
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assuranceprotocols
Collaborate with the Deputy Director of Finance and Operations and program leads todevelop and manage a standard operating procedure for each programmatic ororganization-wide system; create a schedule for annual org-wide trainings and leadfacilitations of those trainings
Communicate internally and externally with management, staff, and vendors to ensuresmooth operational processes for all stakeholders; effective procedure and qualitysystem function
Execute on all department strategic and operational objectives.
Work in collaboration with the IT department, primarily the Deputy Director of Tech andSystems to integrate quality IT software tools and systems that will support operationalefficiency.
Other duties and projects as assigned
HUMAN RESOURCES OPERATIONS (15%)
Manage onboarding and off-boarding logistics for all contractors, consultants, placements and fellows
Serve as external hiring service liaison
Provide excellent customer service and support to program clients
ADMINISTRATION AND SPECIAL PROJECTS (10%)
Attend all staff and department meetings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of operations
Highly detail-oriented, careful, and precise
Ability to manage competing demands and multi-task in a fast-paced environment ? Ability to effectively problem-solve and exercise judgment
Ability to work collaboratively across departments with a diverse team ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills ? Ability to give, receive, and incorporate feedback

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Salesforce or related software systems

TIMELINE AND COMPENSATION
This is a full-time salaried position, ranging from $50,000 – $55,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
