SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization’s finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to Accounting Manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
At a minimum, tasks will include, but not limited to:

– Reviewing the FOOP costs as posted in SAP;- Monthly reporting of actual FOOP costs to budget (incl. analysis)
– Defining and implementing transparent monthly reporting on efficiency result, stock differences, price differences etc.
– Implementing, preparing and actively participating in a periodic review of those reports with the relevant people. The review is used to challenge all participants and to support them to achieve continuous improvements.

Review and adjust where necessary the monthly postings of the movements of goods and services to ensure complete, accurate and timely registration of the goods flow (both volume and value).
It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
