Responsibilities:
Utilizes the HCM for onboarding and Equifax for I9 completion.
Performs general office work such as filing, copying and mail distribution; enters data into computer systems; assists others with computer usage for employment purposes.
Coordinates onboarding process by scheduling for appointments, verifying legal documents required by law, and communicating with new hires which documentation is necessary for hiring.
Reviews documentation and on boarding paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
Calls to schedule and confirm new hire appointments and assure applicants bring necessary documents.
Maintains integrity of files and records.
Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to learn and work independently.
Ability to master multiple computer systems.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Access databases.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
Education and/or experience in Human Resources preferred, but not required.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and vacation periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair’s attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair’s attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair’s Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
