POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Senior Manager will implement the HR strategies in support of the business and add value to line managers and employees in delivering a day-to-day service covering all aspects of Blue River Partners employment relationships.
Primarily responsible for performance management, enquiry resolution, people matters (including disciplinary and grievance) learning and development, and priorities as determined by the senior leadership team. To ensure the business remains compliant with employment legislation and laws.
* Acts as a trusted advisor responsible for coaching and advising on business HR matters and act as a conduit between the business and the other services offered within HR Employee Relations, Learning and Development and Performance Management, MentoringPrograms and Payroll Review
* Manage complex employee relations issues from identification to effective resolution, to foster a positive employee relations climate including responding to employment tribunal claims and liaising with third party advisors as necessary
* Act as a HR representative on a comprehensive range of employment relation caseload that may be complex, sensitive and contentious such as performance, grievance, harassment and bullying and sickness management
* Work with Line Managers to drive the execution of employee activity including new hires, transferees and terminations
* Partner with Senior Leadership on strategic planning and provide guidance on corrective actions, development plans, employee terminations, etc.
* Administer and advise leaders regarding legal and regulatory compliance of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA,
* Oversee and administer HR responsibilities for 4 offices in the US and 2 Caribbean
* Onboarding and payroll system setup and maintenance
* Payroll cycle management, review, submission
* Liaise with HR business partners of parent company and PEO service provider
* The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company
* A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
* Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
* Coaching and mentoring at management level
* Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs
* The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
* A strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
* Strong internal and external customer service focus
* The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously – orientated on results
